But now standing on that factory’s production floor, watching row after row of heavy plastic jugs being filled, the real absurdity finally hit home: they were topping off container after container with standard filtered water before sealing them for global shipping.

Hundreds of gallons of ordinary filtered water, locked into rigid, bulky jugs, ready to be loaded onto trucks, air freight pallets, and cargo ships.

That was the epiphany: The live entertainment industry wasn't paying for high-performance fog fluid, it was paying fortune after fortune just to transport heavy water around the world.
